BALANCING A VIGNETTE

It's not so easy to master styling an asymmetrical look. It takes some practice to really balance a story that has all the right proportions. There should be different textures, heights, and pairings of objects. You don't always have to add too much to it, but personally I like to really layer a look. And sometimes it is best to collect similar things together, like one color story of objects, or a collection of decorative boxes. Keep in mind that settings in odd numbers, like 3 and 5, also keep the look visually balanced. Take a lesson from some of these beautifully balanced vignette examples!
