I remember when wearing gold and silver together was a total faux pas. Don't worry, I was totally guilty of this until I started working at Schwartz. When I finally began to play around the showroom I was not only able to see how different styles and scales work with each other but also that mixing metals can work too. Don't go crazy just because your knobs and your light fixture don't match. It's more important that you love the pieces on their own and that they balance in the whole design.
